Terms of Use
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the ElectroBoard web service (the "Service"), available at eboard.in.ua.
By using the Service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
1. Description of the Service
ElectroBoard is an online tool for designing distribution electrical panels. The Service allows users to visually assemble panel layouts, calculate loads, verify designs against electrical-safety rules, and export results.
The Service is under active development (alpha stage). Features, the user interface, and availability may change without prior notice.
2. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
⚠️ This is the most important section of these Terms.
2.1. The Service Is Not a Substitute for Professional Design
ElectroBoard is an assistive tool for preliminary design and visualisation. The Service does not replace:
- official project documentation prepared by a licensed electrical designer;
- review of the design by a qualified electrician prior to installation;
- compliance with applicable electrical standards and codes (including IEC 60364 and any regional equivalents).
2.2. No Warranty of Accuracy
The developer of the Service does not warrant:
- the completeness, accuracy, or currency of any calculations, checks, or recommendations provided by the Service;
- that results produced by the Service comply with the specific standards and codes applicable in your country or region;
- uninterrupted operation of the Service or preservation of your data.
2.3. Limitation of Liability
The developer of the Service shall not be liable for:
- any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service;
- damage to equipment, property, or personal injury resulting from installation of electrical equipment based on designs created in the Service;
- loss of data, projects, or other information;
- decisions made on the basis of calculations or recommendations provided by the Service.
Responsibility for the safe installation of electrical equipment rests at all times with the person performing the installation and/or the project owner.
2.4. Recommendation
We strongly recommend:
- having any design created in ElectroBoard reviewed by a qualified electrician before installation;
- complying with the electrical standards and codes applicable in your country;
- not relying solely on the Service's automated checks as a guarantee of safety.
3. Registration and Account
Use of the panel editor requires registration via Google OAuth or email and password. You are responsible for:
- the accuracy of information you provide;
- the confidentiality of your account;
- all actions performed under your account.
4. Content Rights
4.1. Your Content
Electrical panel projects that you create in the Service belong to you. We make no claim of ownership over your content.
4.2. Licence to Use
By saving projects on the Service's servers you grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (including any sharing feature you voluntarily activate).
4.3. The Service
The ElectroBoard software is the intellectual property of the developer. Copying, decompiling, modifying, or commercially exploiting the Service's code without the developer's prior written consent is prohibited.
5. Free Access
The Service is currently provided free of charge. The developer reserves the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, with advance notice. Free access to the core functionality will be maintained.
6. Acceptable Use
When using the Service the following are prohibited:
- attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' data;
- using automated means to scrape data from the Service in bulk;
- intentionally disrupting the operation of the Service;
- using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Changes to These Terms
The developer may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
8. Suspension and Termination
The developer reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved by negotiation and, where that is not possible, by the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the developer is registered.
