Panel Templates

When you create a new project you can start from one of 4 ready-made templates. Each template ships a typical panel layout with pre-configured devices, connections, cables, and consumers.

🏠 1-Bedroom Apartment

Parameters: single-phase, TN-C-S, 5 kW

A simple panel for a small apartment. Two rails of 12 modules each.

Rail 1 — Incomer:

  • Main MCB 32 A (curve C)
  • Main RCD 40 A / 30 mA (type AC)

Rail 2 — Groups (under the RCD):

  • Lighting — 10 A, curve B, 1.5 mm² cable (in wall, 20 m)
  • Room sockets — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (in wall, 15 m)
  • Kitchen sockets — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (in wall, 12 m)
  • Water heater — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (in wall, 8 m)
  • Washing machine — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (in wall, 10 m)

🏢 2-Bedroom Apartment

Parameters: single-phase, TN-C-S, 7 kW

An extended panel with two RCDs — a dedicated one for wet zones. Rails of 18 + 18 modules.

Rail 1 — Incomer:

  • Main MCB 40 A (curve C)
  • "Wet zones" RCD 40 A / 30 mA — for the bathroom, water heater, and washing machine
  • "General" RCD 40 A / 30 mA — for the remaining circuits

Rail 2 — Groups:

Under the "wet zones" RCD:

  • Bathroom — 16 A, 2.5 mm² cable
  • Water heater — 16 A, 2.5 mm² cable
  • Washing machine — 16 A, 2.5 mm² cable

Under the "general" RCD:

  • Lighting — 10 A, curve B, 1.5 mm² cable
  • Room 1 sockets — 16 A, 2.5 mm² cable
  • Room 2 sockets — 16 A, 2.5 mm² cable
  • Kitchen sockets — 16 A, 2.5 mm² cable

🏡 3-Phase House

Parameters: three-phase, TN-C-S, 15 kW

A full three-phase panel for a private house. Three rails of 18 modules each, with the load distributed across the phases.

Rail 1 — Incomer:

  • Main MCB 40 A (3P, curve C)
  • RCD L1 — 40 A / 30 mA
  • RCD L2 — 40 A / 30 mA
  • RCD L3 — 40 A / 30 mA

Rail 2 — Groups L1 + L2:

Phase L1 (under RCD L1):

  • Floor 1 lighting — 10 A, curve B, 1.5 mm² cable (20 m)
  • Living-room sockets — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (15 m)
  • Water heater — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (8 m)

Phase L2 (under RCD L2):

  • Floor 2 lighting — 10 A, curve B, 1.5 mm² cable (25 m)
  • Kitchen sockets — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (12 m)
  • Washing machine — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (10 m)

Rail 3 — Groups L3:

Phase L3 (under RCD L3):

  • Bedroom sockets — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (18 m)
  • Oven — 20 A, curve C, 4 mm² cable (10 m)
  • Outdoor lighting — 10 A, curve B, 1.5 mm² cable (30 m, underground)

🔧 Garage / Workshop

Parameters: single-phase, TN-C-S, 5 kW

A compact single-rail panel (12 modules). Cables are run in conduit (method B2); the workbench breaker uses curve D to ride out tool inrush currents.

Rail 1:

  • Main MCB 25 A (curve C)
  • RCD 40 A / 30 mA
  • Lighting — 10 A, curve B, 1.5 mm² cable (in conduit, 15 m)
  • Sockets — 16 A, curve C, 2.5 mm² cable (in conduit, 10 m)
  • Workbench / power tools — 16 A, curve D, 2.5 mm² cable (in conduit, 8 m)

Using a Template

  1. Click New project in the project list
  2. Select a template
  3. The project is created with all devices, connections, and N busbars for each RCD group
  4. Adapt it to your needs: add or remove circuits, change ratings, cables, and consumers

Templates are a starting point, not a final solution. Every installation has its own specifics.
