Everything for designing electrical panels online

80+ automatic checks, 28 modular devices, 5 earthing systems, an AI consultant with built-in IEC 60364 knowledge — all in the browser, no installation.

Visual builder
Drag breakers onto the rail — the editor lines them up automatically. Works on both desktop and tablet.
80+ automatic checks
Breaker selectivity, phase balance, neutral errors, RCDs in TN-C — the editor flags problems as you design, not after the panel is built.
AI consultant
Sees your current panel, explains issues with references to specific IEC 60364 clauses, and suggests fixes.
28 modular devices
MCBs, RCDs, RCBOs, contactors, relays, meters, SPDs, AFDDs, changeover switches — pick one and drop it in. Pole count fills in automatically.
Load calculation
Phase currents, cable voltage drop, diversity factor — all computed automatically to IEC 60364 and IEC 61439-1.
5 earthing systems
TN-S, TN-C, TN-C-S, TT, IT — the editor blocks RCDs in TN-C, requires them in TT, and builds neutral and earth bars automatically.
Automatic wiring
Wires route themselves — around busbars, never crossing, in clean channels. Move one point and the diagram updates.
IEC 60364 compliance
Validation runs against IEC 60364 — TN/TT/IT earthing rules, RCD requirements, selectivity and cable sizing checked as you build.
Panel templates
Ready-made layouts for apartments, houses and commercial sites — start from a proven base structure, not a blank sheet.
Ready PDF report
Single-line diagram + bill of materials with part numbers + breaker labels — all in one PDF, one click.
Public link
Share a panel with a colleague or client via one link — they see the diagram and checks without signing up.
Cloud storage
Access your projects from any device. A cloud copy plus a .board file for local archiving.
How it works

Three steps to a finished panel

Create a project

Choose the object type and earthing system, then add the devices you need.

Assemble the diagram

Place breakers, RCDs, meters and other components. The editor flags errors instantly.

Check and export

Run all checks, fix the warnings — and download a ready PDF with the diagram and bill of materials.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. ElectroBoard is completely free. An account is only needed for cloud saving and sharing.

ElectroBoard runs right in your browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Open the panel designer, pick an earthing system and object type, then drag breakers, RCDs and RCBOs onto the DIN rail. It automatically computes phase currents, runs 80+ checks and generates a PDF with the diagram and bill of materials. You can also install it as a PWA on your phone or computer for offline use.

For electricians, designers and students — anyone who needs to design an electrical panel to IEC 60364.

ElectroBoard runs 80+ checks against IEC 60364 and IEC 61439-1: protection selectivity, cable ampacity, earthing systems, room zones, N-routing, hard invariants (PEN, TT/IT, N isolation between RCDs), terminal overload and supply-source roles — including short-circuit protection on the source side. It is a design tool, not a substitute for official documentation.

Yes — a PDF with the panel diagram, a bill of materials, and a .eboard file to hand over to colleagues. You can also share the panel via a link.

The basic single-phase formula is ΔU = (2 · I · L · ρ) / S, where I is load current, L is line length, ρ is resistivity (copper ≈ 0.0175) and S is conductor cross-section. IEC 60364 keeps total voltage drop within roughly 4% (lighting) to 5% (other circuits) from the panel to the farthest load. Instead of calculating by hand, use the online calculators — enter cross-section, length and cable type to get the drop in volts and percent.
