Quick Start

This section will help you create your first panel project in just a few minutes.

Step 1. Open the Website

Open eboard.in.ua in your browser. Works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge — on desktop and mobile.

Step 2. Sign In

Click Sign In on the home page. Two options:

  • Google — fastest method. One click and you are in
  • Email and password — enter your email and create a password. After registration, check your inbox for a confirmation email

After signing in you will be taken directly to the editor.

Step 3. Create a Project

After your first sign-in, the project selection dialog opens. Click New project and choose:

  • Empty project — a blank panel where you add everything yourself
  • Template — a ready-made panel with a typical configuration (details in Templates):
    • 1-bedroom apartment (1-phase, 5 kW)
    • 2-bedroom apartment (1-phase, 7 kW)
    • 3-phase house (3-phase, 15 kW)
    • Garage / Workshop (1-phase, 5 kW)

Tip: If you are new to ElectroBoard, choose the "1-bedroom apartment" template. It shows a typical panel structure with a main breaker, RCD, and branch circuits.

Project name is optional. Leave the field blank and press Enter to have the system auto-generate a name. You can rename it at any time by double-clicking the name in the toolbar.

Step 4. Explore the Interface

The editor interface is made up of several zones:

Toolbar (top bar)

The toolbar has two rows on desktop (three on mobile):

Row 1 — project name (double-click to rename), save indicator, action buttons (Export, Share, Settings, Sign Out).

Row 2 — Undo/Redo buttons, phase indicators (L1, L2, L3, N, PE), total load, phase balance, inlet load indicator.

Working Area (centre)

An SVG view of the panel with DIN rails and devices. Here you see a visual representation of your panel — the N and PE busbars and the wires between devices.

Navigating the working area:

  • Mouse wheel — zoom
  • Left button and drag on background — pan
  • Mobile: pinch-to-zoom

Device Palette (left)

A list of available devices grouped by category. Drag a device from the palette onto a rail to add it. On mobile the palette opens via the Add module button.

Properties Panel (right)

Selecting a device opens a panel with its settings: rating, characteristic, cable, consumers. On mobile it appears as a bottom sheet.

Validation Panel (bottom right)

Automatic checks of your panel. Errors are shown in red, warnings in yellow, and recommendations in blue. Click any check to navigate to the relevant device.

Step 5. Add a Device

Drag the required device from the palette onto a DIN rail. The device will occupy the appropriate number of modules on the rail.

After adding:

  1. Click the device to open the properties panel
  2. Set the rating, characteristic, and other parameters
  3. Set the parent device (if needed) — this creates the protection hierarchy
  4. Configure the cable (cross-section, installation method, length)
  5. Add consumers (what this breaker supplies)
