Quick Start

This section will help you create your first panel project in just a few minutes.

Step 1. Open the Website#

Open eboard.in.ua in your browser. Works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge — on desktop and mobile.

Step 2. Account (optional)#

The constructor opens without an account: click the create-panel button on the home page and you are in the editor. Without an account you can create one panel; it is kept only in this browser, and the checks, calculations and exports work as usual.

To save panels to the cloud, create more than one panel, share a link and write to support, create an account — click Sign In on the home page. Two options:

• Google — fastest method. One click and you are in
• Email and password — enter your email and create a password. After registration, check your inbox for a confirmation email

After signing in you will be taken directly to the editor. A panel made without an account is offered to you for saving to the account — see Account & Cloud for details.

Step 3. Create a Project#

When the editor first opens, the project selection dialog appears. Click New project and choose:

• Empty project — a blank panel where you add everything yourself
• Template — a ready-made panel with a typical configuration (details in Templates):
  • 1-bedroom apartment (1-phase, 5 kW)
  • 2-bedroom apartment (1-phase, 7 kW)
  • 3-phase house (3-phase, 15 kW)
  • Garage / Workshop (1-phase, 5 kW)

Tip: If you are new to ElectroBoard, choose the "1-bedroom apartment" template. It shows a typical panel structure with a main breaker, RCD, and branch circuits.

Project name is optional. Leave the field blank and press Enter to have the system auto-generate a name. You can rename it at any time: click the project name in the toolbar → "Rename" (or press F2).

Step 4. Explore the Interface#

The editor interface is made up of several zones:

Toolbar (top bar)#

On a computer the toolbar is a single row: the pill with the project name and the save indicator (a click opens the project menu: "My projects", "Rename", the .eboard file), the Undo/Redo buttons, the Iₖ (fault currents) and Co (diversity factor) toggles, the input-load indicator with the phase balance, "Share", "Export" and the app menu "⋯" (theme, language, documentation). On mobile the toolbar takes two rows.

Tool column (left)#

A vertical column of cursor modes: Select (V), Hand (H), Wiring Mode (W), Probe (P), Numbering (N), Ruler (R), Rails (D), as well as the palette button and the "Potentials" panel button (L) with the phase, N/PE and source filters. On mobile the modes open with the mode button in the toolbar.

Working Area (centre)#

Navigating the working area:

• Mouse wheel — zoom
• Left button and drag on background — pan
• Mobile: pinch-to-zoom

Device Palette (left)#

A list of available devices grouped by category, with search and the "Favorites" and "Recent" sections. Click a device and then a free place on a rail — or drag the device onto a rail. On mobile the palette opens via the "+ Add" button.

Properties Panel (right)#

Selecting a device opens a panel with its settings: rating, characteristic, cable, consumers. When nothing is selected, the panel settings are shown in this place. On mobile, tapping a device opens the device card at the bottom, and from it the properties panel.

Checks Panel (under the toolbar)#

Automatic checks of your panel — a strip with counters right under the toolbar; a click expands the list. Safety errors are shown in red, issues in yellow, and recommendations in blue. Click "→ Go to" next to a check to navigate to the relevant device.

Step 5. Add a Device#

Click the required device in the palette, and then a free place on a DIN rail (or simply drag the device onto a rail). The device will occupy the appropriate number of modules on the rail.

After adding:

1. Click the device to open the properties panel
2. Set the rating, characteristic, and other parameters
3. Set the source — the device this one is fed from (if needed) — this creates the protection hierarchy
4. Configure the cable (cross-section, installation method, length)
5. Add consumers (what this breaker supplies)
