📶 Offline Mode🐛 Bug Reporting FAQ

Project Sharing

You can share your panel project with other people via a link. The recipient can view the panel and export a PDF — no registration required.

  1. Open the project in the editor
  2. Click Share in the toolbar
  3. In the dialog, click Create link
  4. Copy the link and send it

The link has the format <site-address>/share/[token] — a unique project token is appended to the address where ElectroBoard is open.

What the Viewer Sees

The recipient opens the link in a browser without needing to sign in. They see:

  • The panel in view-only mode — no editing possible
  • Phase filters — switch between L1/L2/L3, show or hide N and PE
  • Wire Mode — the wiring preview mode
  • Export — PDF with the diagram, the equipment bill of materials, and panel labels

Interactivity

Although the panel is in view-only mode, the recipient can:

  • Click a breaker — every wire to and from that device is highlighted
  • Click a busbar (PE/N) — connected devices light up: direct ones (blue dashed) and indirect descendants (yellow dashed)
  • Change the distance between rails — the "Distance" slider in the toolbar (10–40 cm) for comfortable viewing of large panels
  • Minimap navigation — when zooming into large panels (3+ rails), a thumbnail of the whole panel with a rectangle marking the visible region appears in the bottom-right corner. Click or drag on the minimap for instant navigation

Revoking Access

To close link access:

  1. Open the project
  2. Click Share
  3. Click Revoke link

After revoking, the link stops working. When someone tries to open it, the recipient sees a message that the link is no longer valid.

⚠️ Warning: The link grants read-only access. No one can modify your project through a shared link. Collaborative editing is planned for future versions.
